4th of July Parade Unit

March in a hometown-style parade in the beautiful, tree-filled St. Anthony Park neighborhood of St. Paul. Kids: decorate your bikes, trikes, wagons, strollers. Adults & Teens can volunteer to wear Major Allergen costumes during the parade! Patriotic costumes and red/white/blue attire welcomed too.

Location: The route is along Como Avenue: line up is at Luther Place and 2323 Como Avenue (just west of the stoplight at Doswell) and the end is at Langford Park. The parade route is relatively short (very easy for children).

Time: Line up is at 10:30 a.m. and the parade begins at 11:00. Check signs for AFAA's unit number when you arrive and then join other gathering families.

The parade ends about noon, but participants can stay in the park to enjoy live music, kid games, and can arrange picnicking with friends or family.
