Food Allergy Awareness Walk & 5K−Hey Diddle Diddle−Help Solve the Food Riddle! Your Participation in the annual Food Allergy Awareness Walk 5K makes our schools, restaurants, families, and communities safer through support of AFAA's programs. Enjoy music & entertainment, meeting other families, and safe refreshments in Como Regional Park!

Banquet Awards Dinner−Be Inspired! Enjoy an elegant evening, dine on safe food, and meet heroes of the food allergy community as they receive an AFAA award in recognition for their work in Minnesota. Nominations held each year in a number of categories−honor someone you know who has made a difference in the lives of others!

Seminars and Resource Fairs  - Learn from food allergy experts and enjoy vendors with helpful products in these events.

MN United FC Soccer Peanut-Free Section - Root for your favorite team in a peanut-free section!

Food Allergy Awareness Week  - Take some time to share resources and information from AFAA (fliers, bookmarks, DVDs, etc.) with educators, family members, friends, restaurants, and others in your circle of influence, or host a fundraiser/community project to benefit AFAA.

MN Twins Baseball Peanut-Safe Balconies - Take me out to the ballgame – but hold the peanuts!  AFAA hosts and Twins staff have created a private section for those with peanut allergies and their families (families with multiple food allergies are welcome also).

St. Paul Saints Baseball -  Enjoy the antics of a Saints game while relaxing in a peanut-safe section with a terrific game deal (food, hat or t-shirt, ticket, etc.) or come to the game when the entire stadium is peanut-free!

AFAA Camp -  All kids should have a chance to experience camp, and AFAA makes it possible for food allergic kids to do that safely.  The first in the U.S. to offer overnight camping and the first in the U.S. to offer day-camp, AFAA has created the model for camp safety with professionals from the foodservice industry and physicians on site 24 hours.  AFAA Camp offers traditional camp fun in two options: for kids alone and for kids with their families.

Parade Marching Unit -  Since its inception, AFAA has taken part in the only 4th of July parade in Minnesota’s state capital, St. Paul.  This family-friendly food-free parade is one mile long and welcomes decorated strollers, wagons, bikes – and kids and adults are welcome to dress in costumes or in patriotic colors if they like.  The parade ends at Langford Park, where families can stay for picnicking, music, kid games, and other entertainment throughout the day.

Minnesota State Fair -  Come to the Minnesota Get-Together!  For 12 days AFAA hosts a food allergy booth in the Healthfair, educating thousands of fairgoers about food allergies.  Sponsor the booth or volunteer for a shift as part of the largest food allergy outreach effort in the U.S.!

Food Allergy Conference & Expo -  The only event of its kind in the United States, combining the most highly qualified food allergy speakers with exhibitors from U.S., Canada, Australia and companies from other countries.  Learn, Network, Rejuvinate through roundtable discussions with others, presentations from experts, panels addressing current issues, free samples, and the opportunity to talk to company representatives and purchase their products and services.

Halloween Allergy-Free Zone -  The World’s Largest Trick-or-Treat event includes a place that is fun for all, and safe for those with food allergies: the Allergy-Free Zone!  All ages are welcome to enjoy Mad Science experiments made for the evening - and instead of candy, get a small toy!

Timberwolves Food-Free Suite -  Don’t miss the fun of watching basketball in a luxury suite - free of all food for your safety!  This prime location boasts of stadium chairs, sofas, telephone, television, private bathroom, and more – plus perks arranged by the Timberwolves team to make your evening unforgettable!

Silent Auction & Benefit Concert -  Relax and enjoy good music by youthful musicians, safe refreshments, visiting with friends, and bidding on a variety of quality goods and services – just in time for the holidays!  Donations of auction items are gratefully accepted year-round.
